It’s a skin condition where a person experiences patchy, white skin on their genitalia or anal area.
These patches get very itchy, red, and painful. Severe cases have shown it to cause bleeding, blisters, and sores. In advanced states, this disease has been known to eat away at labial tissue.
Now, anyone can get lichen sclerosus, and while postmenopausal women have the most risk, there have been many cases where younger women are affected.
