Longevity Update and Eating Crow About Cold Therapy

Exploring a regenerative wellness center.

Coming your way… new longevity therapies to extend your health and sex span…

An incredible wellness center called JyZen recently opened in Mill Valley, California. My doctor encouraged me to get Nanovi treatments there to continue healing from my lingering long-haul covid exhaustion. Three rounds of covid over many years gave my cells a major whacking.

Simplistically, Nanovi uses treated water you breathe which reduces oxidative stress and improves “protein folding,” so your cells can function optimally. I’ve had five treatments, and I can feel an improvement in my energy levels.

Only with folded proteins can the body execute all biochemical processes and perform important functions such as:

  • Recovery and regeneration
  • Energy (ATP) production
  • Immunity
  • Healthy Aging
  • Fighting chronic diseases

Here I am with Mana Shams, a bioenergetic therapist who administers Nanovi to me.

In addition, I got up the courage to get into the MecoTec cryotherapy room. I’m eating my words… Recently I was making fun of all the people in my social media feeds who were immersing themselves in ice baths — chalking it up to the latest craze in biohacking. But here I am, dropping my body temperature by 30-40 degrees by standing in a -121℉ room for four minutes.

Whole-body cryotherapy reduces the production of the stress hormone cortisol, allowing muscles to relax and boosting metabolism. It’s fantastic for sports injuries, and I’m healing two torn MCLs from a recent fall while skiing. In addition, the body reacts to cold by producing more collagen. I’m fighting against aging by improving the elasticity of my skin so that wrinkles are minimized.

I like how the water on my body makes it snow in the Cryo room. And I like how the cold makes me focus on my reserves and calmness.

After the cryo, I treat myself to the NovoThor whole-body red light bed. Ahhhhh, it’s warm but not hot. Light but not too bright. And it’s great for muscle pain, injury recovery, vascular health, and skin anti-aging.

For many years, I’ve recommended the RedRush brand of red light panels for home use. Their price point, quality of product, and customer care have made them a company I continue to tell you are an excellent choice for your photobiomodulation efforts.

In addition, the company that makes The Whopper penis and lady pumps debuted their red light wrap you can put right on your skin or around their pumps to aid in recovery from the penis and vulva pumping. And I wear two of them, one on each arm, to keep the skin on my arms from wrinkling.

I’m trying every single technology at JyZen, one therapy at a time. I had my first CellGym session yesterday. This technology provides intermittent hypoxic training (IHT). Like altitude training, IHT can improve your overall performance and conditioning, just like athletes who train at altitude make more red blood cells and have more robust vascular oxygenation.

The first treatment made me sleepy from the lack of oxygen. Over time this feeling transmutes into increased energy. If you don’t have solid lungs or get winded easily, CellGym could be an excellent option for getting your body more energy to start a cardio or High-Intensity Interval Training workout. It seems like a gentle way to ease yourself into more resilience since you lie down and sleep for 40 minutes while the CellGym does all the work. Pretty cool.

One of the other technologies I’m trying is the Vasper system. I want to explain this technology to you because it is super cool. I’ll do another article soon for you and get some video of me doing it so you can see it.

Suffice it to say right now that I’m using this machine after my daily cardio-strength workouts to improve my overall performance, increase my growth hormone and testosterone, and lower my nighttime cortisol levels for a deeper sleep.

I’ve had a few soft tissue injuries and want to heal them quickly and regain the strength I’ve lost during my recovery phase.

I do have to brag for a moment. I was tickled pink today when my trainer told me I am one of the strongest people at the gym! Most people who go to my gym are 10-30 years younger than me. I told my trainer Jake that I thought I was one of his “mercy” clients.

He said quite the contrary! I am always asking for more weight, I pick up heavier weights than most of his clients and I care more about the physiology of working out — from blood restriction to pre and post-workout supplementation — I bring a mindful commitment that most of his other clients lack.

That made me feel even stronger and more resolved! My goal is strength. It’s less about how I look and more about my flexibility, balance, agility, function, and pure strength. The Vasper is an exciting new technology in my arsenal, thanks to the team at JyZen.

I hope there is something in here you can use. If anything, it’s getting a trainer to take you from wherever you are to more resiliency… and that there are exciting new technologies to accelerate your functional fitness.

Keep an eye out for the Vasper explainer article I’ll do soon.

For now, I’m flying off to Kona, Hawaii to do some video shoots with my friend and bodybuilder, Drew Manning of Fit2Fat2Fit. I’m going to go teach him about penis pumps and relationship values.

More soon!
