Hindsight is 20/20. As a COVID long-haul survivor and supplement expert, I wanted to give you the Immunity Support Protocol I share with my family and friends. Below is an immune support vitamins protocol in the best way and the cheapest, easiest way.
My 23-year old daughter is currently rock climbing in Turkey while getting her Master’s Degree through remote online schooling. All her climbing friends came down with COVID. She was the only one who tested negative. She is still quarantining herself in case she’s an asymptomatic carrier. We immediately translated the list of immune support supplements into Turkish, and she’s on this protocol.
When you take an immune support vitamins protocol, you attempt to:
- increase your immune health,
- repress any virus that gets into you and
- work to inhibit any viral replication.
I got COVID the day before Tim from a good friend who was asymptomatic, and I began to shelter-in-place on February 28th. We met to say goodbye for a while and wouldn’t you know it… He came down with coronavirus a few days later. Within nine days, Tim and I were sick. We had the gastrointestinal presentation of COVID rather than the lung issues. Tim got better fast but said it was the worst flu he’d ever had. It took me three weeks to get back to work. And I almost immediately relapsed.
My relapse was much worse. The virus continued to wreak havoc in my system. My blood oxygen began dropping. The GI issues came back. I was weak and dizzy. I lost my sense of smell and could only smell a chemical or gasoline smell for weeks on end. Tim got a pulse oximeter (a very cheap device that tells you your oxygen level). And he bought an Oxygen Concentrator so I could saturate my body with oxygen at home when my levels dropped. I didn’t want to go to the hospital unless I became too sick to manage myself. And I have a doctor in my small town who was able to come home to check on me.
A LONG HAULER
The way COVID works is it moves throughout your whole body through your blood supply. It hitches a ride on your endothelial system, the smooth muscles lining your veins and arteries. It’s a vascular virus. It attaches itself to your ACE-2 receptors, injects itself into your cells, and takes them over. You have these receptors all over your body —COVID doesn’t just attack your lungs. It damages your heart, brain, kidneys, gonads, and more. COVID is like a nuclear bomb that explodes in your whole body, not just your lungs.
Some people are not affected at all and recover quickly. Others are sick for months on end. They are called “long haulers.” You can join groups on Facebook and learn much more. Long COVID Support Group and Long Haul COVID Fighters are the two I’m in.
I’m a long-hauler who has been particularly neurologically affected and with chronic fatigue (Myalgic encephalomyelitis).
I TRIED EVERYTHING
I’ve tried 70 hours of hyperbaric oxygen treatments, high-dose vitamin D, myriad supplements, peptides, NAD IV’s, and Exosomes. Nothing yet has “fixed” me. I won’t give up. But I don’t want you to get this virus if you can at all avoid it. Because you don’t know if you’ll be the one it hammers. I’m not fat. I’m not that old. I was in excellent health with ample nutrition and supplementation, and it beat me to the ground and stomped on me.
I can only work on some days. Exertion renders me exhausted all over again. I’ve been fighting to regain my cognitive function and energy for ten months. And I am not unusual. Long-haulers are common, and we share a cluster of post-viral symptoms such as ocular pain, hair loss, skin issues, shortness of breath, heart palpitations, and severe mental and physical exhaustion.
It would be best if you did not get COVID. And if you are exposed, I want you to fight it off and limit the severity.
I’ve put everything I’m about to explain to you in my Amazon store here. ⇒ Suz’s Immunity Support Protocol
I also recommend OneMask.
It’s soft like a tee-shirt, fits well without sagging, you can talk, and it doesn’t fall. They make kids’ sizes. They wash well. And you can get them in a 5-pack. The best thing we can do to protect each other is to limit our contact, keep our distance, wear a mask at all times when out and about, and support our immune system.
IMMUNE SUPPORT VITAMINS PROTOCOL
Zinc and Copper
You use the nasal spray if you have to be out in public. Keeping your nasal passages moist and irrigated is thought to inhibit viral replication. Remember not to touch your face and eyes. The virus can enter your eyes as well.
The XLEAR Nasal Spray with Xylitol is safe to use every day.
The iodine I recommend is called Nascent Iodine. It’s an essential element. Don’t get potassium iodide or Crows or Lugols or Betadine. Those are not the essential elements. You want to keep your mouth bacteria in the right balance. Squirt it in your Waterpik when you brush your teeth. Or put it in water, gargle, swish, and spit.
If you have thyroid issues, iodine is the food of the thyroid. I take a few drops in water every day to support my thyroid as well. It’s also an excellent vaginal irrigation solution — a squirt in a douche bottle if you feel your vagina is off or you want to rinse your vagina in the shower at the end of your period. Having Nascent iodine in the house is a fundamental care product.
There are two options when doing this Immune Support Vitamins Protocol. The first is the bare minimum cheapest, easiest way. Hopefully good enough way… The second way arms your body with the best defense.
THE CHEAPEST EASIEST WAY
Take two capsules of BOOST vitamin-mineral complex daily. You’ll get your B-Complex, Vitamin D2, Vitamin K2, Vitamin C, Zinc, Copper, and Selenium. You get 100% of the Recommended Daily Allowances, and you get some Magnesium too. The fenugreek libido booster in BOOST is also an immune-supporting antioxidant. Fenugreek tea is used for fevers and lung congestion as well.
Take the Quercetin and Glutathione.
That’s three bottles of pills, a nasal spray, and the iodine.
THE BEST WAY
Take the BOOST daily vitamin-mineral, Quercetin, and Glutathione.
Supplement additional Vitamin C, D3/K2, Zinc/Copper, and Magnesium.
Vitamin C up to 10,000 IU’s a day. Work up to that and split the dosages throughout the day.
Vitamin D3/K2 up to 10,000 IU’s a day. You may want to take a blood test to monitor your vitamin D levels. Talk to your doctor.
Zinc Copper, up to 50 mg a day.
When I got COVID, I also sucked on the Life Extension lozenges throughout the day to inhibit viral replication.
Add the nasal spray to keep the virus from attaching and replicating in your nose. Gargle with iodine or, better yet, use it in your Waterpik.
Liposomal Glutathione and Vitamin C are the most bioavailable if you have the budget. I have both on my Amazon store link.
If your gut health isn’t fantastic, add a Probiotic. I like the BiOptimizers brand of probiotics and magnesium.
