To Edit an Existing Episode
Click on “Episodes”
Click “Edit” next to the appropriate episode
To Create a New Episode
Click “Create New”
What do all the fields mean in the episodes console?
“Show”: Make sure this is the name of you show before you save.
“Title”: This is the title of the episode
“Number”: This is the episode number.
“Keywords”: These will be used for the web pages, the feed, and iTunes.
“Published”: The page will not appear until this box is checked.
“Published at”: You can select a time in the future for the show to go live and it will be published at that time.
“Duration”: Enter the playing time of the file in minutes and seconds mm:ss (or hh:mm:ss if it’s more than 60 minutes). For instance an episode with a duration of 27 minutes and 32 seconds should be 27:32
“Explicit”: Check “True” or “False” as appropriate
Description: This is a free form text entry box for your description. It ues HTML for formatting. Please keep it simple in here. Do not use any DIV tags, text formatting, or anything other than basic HTML as it may wreak havoc on your pages. It’s also best to avoid links in the description. They should go in the “Links” menu instead.

Click "update" or "create" to save the episode information!
Uploading the MP3 file. Click on the "Media" link next to the episode you just created. Then click "Create New", select MP3 and use the "Browse" button to find the MP3 file you want to upload from your PC. Click "Create" and you are done!
Setting up Ads.
Note - You may already have Ads configured at the system level. If so, then you can skip this step. Check with Tim if you are unsure about this.
Click on "Ads" next to the episode. This will bring up a menu where you tell the ad server where to put the commercials.
Click "Create New". Then enter in the Timestamp: format is hour, minutes, seconds (i.e. 0:09.5 is 9.5 seconds). To insert an end roll simply enter "end"
Select a Commercial Length: Choose the longest commercial that can be inserted into this slot. We recommend the following:
30 secs - Pre Roll
60 secs - Mid Roll
240secs - end
Click "Create" to save the Ad slot.
Adding Related Links
Click on "Links" to include related links for the episode.
Name: This is text that will appear in the link
URL: Link goes here. Make sure it starts with "http://"
Link Type: select the appropriate link type
Update: Make sure to press “Update” so that all your changes will be saved!
Troubleshooting
500 ERROR When Creating EpisodeThe most likely cause of this is trying to create an episode with an episode number that is already being used. For instance trying to save a new episode #27 when one already exists will cause a 500 Error.
