Marcie Prohofsky is thrilled to be hosting A Taste of Sex, featuring erotica written by OneTaste™'s global community members. Professionally known as Feng Shui Girl, Marcie specializes in inspiring women to manifest their life vision through intimacy coaching, hands-on training in touch and personalized Feng Shui-inspired changes to their living environments.

Marcie seeks to increase sensual touch shared between partners worldwide and will release an educational video in late 2007 of her unique massage style that is inspiring new thoughts about time, therapeutic touch and intimacy.
Growing up in an artistic family in Los Angeles, Marcie has been involved in creative endeavors since day one. Already a visual artist working in other mediums, she took her first photography class in the 9th grade. From music to dance, acting and the healing arts she has been committed to her core value of uninhibited expression.  By the age of 15 she began working alongside Hollywood celebrity photographer Peter Borsari, for whom she continued to work for several years. It was during this time that she received her first professional portrait commissions, as well as being hired to shoot parties and weddings for
Hollywood families.

She received her Bachelor's degree, graduating with honors from UC Santa Cruz as a double major in Art History and Studio Art, with a photography emphasis.  Upon graduation, she worked professionally for 4 years in Los Angeles and Spain both as a photographer and as a prop and wardrobe stylist before reorienting her career goals to include the performing arts. Over the past 12 years she has performed throughout California as an actor and solo performer.

Highlights from her acting resume include: Dennis Johnson's Soul of A Whore (Campo Santo), The Tempest (San Francisco Shakespeare Festival), New Works Festival at TheatreWorks, and Lynn Hershman-Leeson's film Strange Culture , which premiered at the 2007 Sundance Film Festival.

Marcie is now an orgasmic innovator at OneTaste™ Urban Retreat in San
Francisco and hosts the "A Taste of Sex: Erotic Poetry Readings. The format of the show is Open Mic style and the pieces are sizzling exposés of how others are exploring their sensuality. She is also Co-Director of the Sensuality Coaching Program at One Taste San Francisco.
