Hokai Sobol was born 1968 as Diego Sobol in Rijeka, Croatia. Began Buddhist study and practice in 1985, started Mandala Society in 1999. Working as lecturer, translator, publisher, coach, meditation teacher, and shingon koshi. Inaugural member of Integral Institute. Living near Rijeka, Croatia.
Spiritual name Hokai is in Japanese and means “Dharma Ocean” (skt. Dharmasagara) - received in Shingon esoteric tradition from Acarya rev. Jomyo Tanaka.
